X‑Ray is a form of electromagnetic radiation, similar to light but of shorter wavelength capable of penetrating solids and ionizing gases. It is used to examine the bones or organs inside a patient’s body. X- ray examination doesn’t take a long time and it can bring a lot of information to the patients diagnostics. At our clinic we place a particular emphasis on both patients and owners safety. That is why we use high class medical equipment and leaden aprons for the owner’s body and thyroid gland which protects them from radiation. X- ray images are also used in investigating digestive system or intestinal obstruction.
