In this case, the most important thing is correct anti-tick prevention, which we discuss at the internist’s visits. We select the appropriate products which are the most effective for the patient and comfortable for the owner.

If there is a suspicion of a tick-borne disease, we can quickly perform blood tests with smears – which enables immediate and appropriate treatment.
In the case of a severe course of babesiosis, we have an option of blood transfusion and, as one of a few in Poland, we perform hemodialysis.
