Dr. Anna Jaśkiewicz graduated from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) in 2016. As a student, she did a number of internships comprising clinical training, inter alia in Germany (Tierarztliche Klinik Gessertshausen), the Czech Republic (the Small Animal Clinic at the University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Science in Brno) and the Sultanate of Oman (the Al Qurum Veterinary Clinic). Since her university years, Anna has worked at 24-hour veterinary clinics, thus gaining experience in the field of emergency medicine. She took interest in veterinary oncology when doing her doctoral program at the Integrated Doctoral School of the Polish Leading Scientific Center (KNOW), which she completed in 2019, defending her doctoral thesis entitled “Molecular mechanism of myoprotective action of geranylgeraniol in cellular model of statin-associated myopathy”.
As a member of the European Society of Veterinary Oncology (ESVONC), Dr. Jaśkiewicz keeps developing her expertise and gaining new professional experience by attending training programs and courses, striving to ensure that her patients can benefit from cutting-edge oncological treatments and are taken care of in the best possible manner.
Veterinary oncology and molecular biology are Dr. Jaśkiewicz’s greatest passions.
