Dr. Irena Pruszyńska graduated from Biotechnology at the University of Warsaw and form Veterinary Medicine at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.
As part of the scholarship, awarded by the ERASMUS PLUS program, she spent two years of veterinary studies at Tieraerztliche Hochschule Hannover in Germany. During education she completed clinical and laboratory internships in Poland, Germany and England under the supervision of the best internal medicine diplomats such as prof. Ingo Nolte and prof. Reinhard Mischke. After graduation, she occupied a clinical and didactic position at the Kleintierklinik TiHo University Clinic.
Currently, she combines her scientific passion with clinical work. Simultaneously, as part of her PhD studies at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the WULS, Dr. Pruszynska teaches students about animal physiology and cancer biology, as well as she conducts researches. Under the supervision of prof. Magdalena Krol, she is looking for new oncological therapies.
In our clinic, she completes the internship as part of the small animals internal diseases specialization studies which she started at the WULS. Dr. Pruszynska is particularly interested in regenerative medicine and oncology.
Privately, the owner of a mixed breed dog, a group of crickets and a rehabilitated pigeon.
